Phase 01
Product & Market Foundation
Next cohort: coming soon
From product idea to market.
OMI, the Oyiza Musa Institute, is an education and knowledge initiative focused on practical Product Commercialization.
The discipline, as OMI Institute teaches it
OMI is an education and knowledge initiative created by Oyiza Musa. It focuses on practical knowledge around Product Commercialization: how a product moves from an opportunity and a piece of research, through sourcing, suppliers, trade and logistics, into a market and on to commercial execution.
The emphasis is on the work itself rather than theory about it. Participants research products, approach suppliers, price and compare, arrange payment and shipping, and follow a product through to the market it was meant for.

How to join: Phase 03Phase 01 · Completed · OMI First Cohort · September 2026
“It’s made in China, so it’s not good.”
How it is practised
Participants learn to approach product promotion like a professional marketing agency hired by a serious company, not someone simply recording a social-media video.
The production standard
“If this company paid my agency ₦5 million for this campaign, would I be proud to submit this video?”
Approached as a real client project
30–60 seconds, and it can be produced with a phone.
